Ronnie

Ronnie

Donkey
Ronnie is one half of Lunar Eclipse’s beloved donkey duo and a much-loved member of the Hoofgang™. Like many donkeys, Ronnie likes to take his time getting to know people. He watches carefully, thinks deeply and prefers to make his own decisions. But once you earn his friendship, you have it for life.

These days, Ronnie is rarely far from Cherene. Whether she is out with the herd, walking around the yard or working in the office, he somehow manages to appear nearby, his quiet presence arriving almost as gently as a breeze. More than once he has wandered over simply to check what she is doing, his soft nose nudging for attention and his curious eyes full of affection. And if she has been busy for too long, he is quite happy to remind her that warm donkey cuddles, shared in a peaceful moment, are far more important than paperwork.

With his gentle nature, thoughtful eyes and growing confidence, Ronnie has become a devoted and comforting shadow at Cherene’s side. There is a sweetness to the way he follows her, always seeming to keep a watchful eye on his favourite person. The team often joke that if they cannot find Ronnie, they simply need to find Cherene first, because where she is, Ronnie is rarely far behind.

Alongside his best friend Morag, Ronnie spends his days enjoying life as part of the herd, learning that he is safe, loved and exactly where he belongs. His story is one of patience, friendship and second chances. And whilst he may look calm and sensible, those who know him best understand that behind that gentle face is a donkey who knows exactly how to get what he wants, especially if ginger biscuits are involved.
Morag

Morag

Donkey
Morag is the very definition of a gentle soul.

She likes to take her time in life, quietly thinking things through before making up her mind. While others may rush ahead, Morag prefers to pause, consider her options, and decide when she is good and ready. One of her favourite things is free roaming around the farm with her best friend Ronnie. Together they can often be found exploring, wandering wherever their curiosity takes them, enjoying the simple pleasures of life.

Morag is also rather fond of ginger biscuits, which she believes should be considered an essential part of any day. And then there are the wildflowers. She simply adores them. Whether she is stopping to admire them or delicately helping herself to a few tasty blooms, Morag knows that every lady deserves flowers in her life.
